as nature’s colors turn from green to gold, it’s time to turn an eye to transforming your house for the cooler weather.  first, turn on your heater to make sure your heating system is in preferred working order. (be sure to switch it to “heat” to review that the system is producing hot air; the fan should be set to “on” and the temperature set at least 3 degrees above the current temperature.)
